For local placement we calculate the best 6 of the BGCSE or Equivalent certificate. Where A=8, B=7, C=6, D=5, E=4 and F=1. A double grade is equivalent to 2 subjects scored at the same grade e.g. Double Science AA=8+8=16 Points, therefore we will need an additional 4 best subjects to make a total of the best 6 subjects. Maximum points to score are 48 points. (Refer to the matrix table for point's calculation, combining certificates and other scenarios).
Every year new entry requirements are set and advertised on print media and DTEF Facebook page. You have to meet to set cu-off points for that financial year and also be in a possession of an admission letter from an approved local instituition, this is not a guarantee for sponsorship, and it is based on competitive basis.
